Handbell Choir

Luther’s Handbell choir is made up of 12 students who volunteer their time to learn the instrument. Handbell rehearsal meets before school at 7:00 a.m. once a week. The Handbell Choir performs at the Christmas and Lenten Concerts as well as the Music Awards Banquet. At times if the schedule permits, they will attend the WELS Handbell Festivals. The Handbell Choir, if schedule allows, will travel to various churches in spring to join in their worship service. The Handbell Choir also participates in the Wisconsin School Music Association district solo and ensemble festival. Luther High’s Handbell Choir has received a starred first at District Festival and a first place rating at State Festival for 7 consecutive years.
